A. There are two ways you can use the QuillSearch component on your site. You can either place a link (link based) on your site, or insert an iframe (iframe based) in your pages.

In the link based method we will provide you a link which can be embedded on any of your pages. Upon clicking this link the user will be shown a search box and your page in an iframe. This method is completely free and is available for both commercial and personal uses. The number of clicks for the link is unrestricted.

You need to register first in order to use quillsearch. Registration is a simple, one step process.

Q. How do I register the link/iframe based component?

A. Registration requires that you supply us the exact query which the search component will call when the user clicks the go button. The query would be in the form of a full url followed by query parameters.

Q. Which method should I use? Link based or iframe based?

A. To effectively use the iframe based service you need to posses some basic knowledge of HTML. If you are not comfortable using HTML then you use the link based method.

If you wan't to let your site visitors search directly from your site, without havin to come to our site first then you should use the iframe based method.

Q. What is the validity period of a license?

A. Currently, there is no restriction on the validity period of a license. However Tachyon Technologies reserves the right to change it as and when deemed fit.
